Ojai has mild winters, with low temperatures that drop below freezing, with an occasional hard frost that damages local flora, including citrus and avocado trees. Ojai is tucked in an east-west valley, 14 miles from the Ventura, California coastline, and thus tends to get hotter and cooler than the coast. Rainfall is modest, with most rain falling between October and March. |
